      Inspired by the mice of Gloucester, this imaginative fellow prepares to begin work on a great sartorial creation. The spool of thread is prominently labeled: “Manufactured in the UK.” England is known also to this day as a producer of fine needles. The loop of thread forms an acorn, artist David Lawrence’s signature mark.

      • On the interior, a camel ponders how to pass through the eye of the needle (a Biblical reference).

      • The “103” on the rim next to the hallmarks shows that this is the 103rd piece David Lawrence has carved for Harmony Kingdom.
