Cats humor nearly everyone with their inventive mischief making. The artist had never seen a cat in a goldfish bowl, but says that if he were of the feline race he would frequent this form of watering hole. Here, his kitty is none too successful as yet another fish escapes from his clutches.

The interior contains two plucky survivors lying low in an aquarium treasure chest, waiting for the cat to get bored or full.

The signature mouse has chosen an interesting hiding place.
